From a Vilnius launch to a twice-yearly European summit
AI Summit Europe began in Vilnius in 2025 as a practical meeting place for people turning artificial intelligence into better decisions, stronger operations and measurable business results. From 2026, the summit is bi-yearly (twice yearly), with separate spring and autumn editions.
AI Summit Europe is a business-focused artificial intelligence conference for leaders, decision-makers, business and operations professionals, policymakers, entrepreneurs and AI practitioners. Its programmes focus on strategy, adoption, business efficiency, automation, practical tools, emerging technologies and real-world use cases.
The series launched in Vilnius in November 2025. The first edition was co-located with Big Data Conference Europe and RPA Europe, bringing AI strategy, data and automation conversations into the same setting while keeping each conference as a separate event.
In 2026, AI Summit Europe expanded to two occurrences in one calendar year: a spring edition in Riga and an autumn edition in Vilnius. The Riga summit was the first standalone edition outside Lithuania. The autumn Vilnius edition is co-located with Big Data Conference Europe.

2025 Vilnius — the first AI Summit Europe
AI Summit Europe opened as an international conference for people looking for practical ways to move AI from interest to implementation. Across three days, the programme explored business transformation, operational efficiency, adoption, innovation and the everyday realities of creating value with AI.
The launch was co-located with Big Data Conference Europe and RPA Europe. This gave participants access to connected conversations about AI, data and automation, while the three conferences retained their own names, audiences and histories.
The edition is preserved through its session programme, a combined 101-recording collection, a shorter AI Summit Europe playlist, speaker introductions and the first aftermovie.
Spring 2026 Riga — the second edition
The spring 2026 summit took AI Summit Europe outside Lithuania for the first time. The Riga edition kept the business-led format and brought together talks, demonstrations, networking and practical discussion about how organisations can adopt AI responsibly and effectively.
The programme featured more than 40 sessions across three tracks and welcomed a community of more than 500 participants from over 35 countries. Topics ranged from AI strategy and organisational change to automation, practical tools, emerging technologies and industry applications.
Riga was a standalone AI Summit Europe edition. Selected talks and speaker introductions remain available in the recording archive.
Autumn 2026 Vilnius — the third edition
The autumn edition begins with workshops at SIMBIOCITY Nova on 24 November. The main summit follows at Forum Cinemas Vingis on 25–27 November, with onsite and online participation.
AI Summit Europe is announced with three conference days, three tracks, more than 40 sessions and over 500 attendees from 35+ countries. The programme covers AI strategy and organisational transformation, business efficiency and automation, tools in real-world use, emerging technologies and sector-specific applications.
The third edition is co-located with Big Data Conference Europe, and one ticket provides access to both programmes. AI Summit Europe nevertheless keeps its own business-focused programme and edition number.
How AI Summit Europe has evolved
The 2025 launch established AI Summit Europe as a practical business summit within a wider Vilnius conference setting. Co-location connected AI strategy and adoption with the data and automation work needed to put ideas into practice.
In 2026, Riga introduced a standalone edition outside Lithuania, while Vilnius continued the co-location model with Big Data Conference Europe. Together, the two occurrences established the new rhythm: AI Summit Europe is bi-yearly, meaning it takes place twice in a calendar year, with each edition keeping its own dates, location, programme and edition number.
